As the Program Director for Student-Athlete Career Development, Tim Bryson coordinates all career readiness initiatives, manages employer relations, and assists student-athletes with internships, graduate/professional school, and full-time job placements.

Bryson also manages the department’s signature InTERPship Academy and Barry & Mary Gossett Fellows Program. As Program Director, Bryson serves as the liaison to the University of Maryland’s Career Services Center and the athletic department’s M Club.
 
Before coming to Maryland, Bryson was an NCAA postgraduate intern in the Leadership Development department. In this role, he led the distribution of DiSC assessments, assisted administrators with curriculum development and program facilitation, and designed programming to tackle global issues in college sport.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bryson competed as a track and field athlete at Coastal Carolina University before transferring to the University of South Carolina, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training. Upon graduation, he enrolled at The Ohio State University where he earned his Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs.

Bryson is a proud son of Leslie Bryson and brother to Brian and Brandi Bryson. A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., he enjoys traveling, listening to Drake, and visiting craft breweries during his free time.
