Pensky's Take: "Dominique has two gifts that nobody can teach - a special left foot and break-away speed. She has the ability to help our team's attack in the wide area right away. As a member of the two-time US Youth Soccer national champion Eagles out of California, we know she will come in well-prepared."

Before Maryland: A forward/midfielder from Marlborough School in Camarillo Springs, Calif. ... currently plays for Eagles SC - the 2005 and 2007 USYS national champions ... three-time first team all-league selection ... 2007 first team all-CIF and all-AAF Southern ... helped lead the Mustangs to back-to-back Sunshine League titles in 2006 and 2007 ... scored 19 goals in 14 games ... also competed in track and volleyball at Marlborough ... three-time league champion in track ... two-time second team all-league in volleyball ... chose Maryland over Stanford, Cal-Berkley, Pepperdine and USC.
