As a Sophomore (2011-12): Went 4-7 at 141 pounds and 1-1 in dual competition...opened the year with a 5-3 decision over Bloomsburg's Matt Rappo.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2010-11): Placed second at the FILA Junior National Championships...went 5-7 overall (5-6 at 141, 0-1 at 149)...opened the season with a 5-2 win over McDaniel's Mike Tancredi at the Terrapin Duals...2-0 in matches decided by pinfall.
As a Freshman (2009-10): Served a redshirt season ... went 6-10 in open competition.
Before Maryland: Lettered four years in wrestling...four-time all-league, two-time all-county selection...twice elected team captain...two-time state champion and three-time all-state in Greco Roman...holds school record for most wins...Greco Roman All-America as a senior.
