2022-23 (GRADUATE):

  • 2023 NCAA Qualifier, going 1-2 in Tulsa with a win over Oklahoma State's Konner Doucet. 
  • Represented Maryland at 2023 Big Ten Championships.
  • Went 3-0 in Maryland's opening weekend quad meet, including a thrilling 7-3 decision over Duke's Jonah Nisenbaum to preserve Maryland's first shutout win since 2014 (11/5). 
  • Earned a 6-1 decision over Pittsburgh's Jake Slinger to lift the Terps from a 15-16 deficit and give them their first ranked win since 2013 (11/18).
  • Topped No. 31 Jacob Bullock (Indiana) on 01/09 and No. 26 Cory Day (Binghamton) on 2/17.
  • Beat Purdue's Hayden Copass (a 2023 NCAA Qualifier) to lift the Terps to a 19-18 comeback victory over Purdue.
  • Finished 14-13 on the season with a rank of #26 (Intermat).


2021-22 (GRADUATE):

  • Seventh-place at 2022 Southern Scuffle.
  • Went 1-2 at the 2022 NCAA Championships with a victory over Utah Valley's Evan Bockman.
  • Defeated Illinois' Matt Wroblewski twice at the 2022 Big Ten Championships.
  • Third-place at 2021 Clarion Open.
  • Won twice during Terp's doubleheader against Drexel and Duke (12/4).
  • Won final two duals of the dual season including a first period pin of American's Melvin Mancia.
  • Defeated then-No.6 Patrick Brucki of Michigan (1/30).


2020-21 (REDSHIRT SENIOR):

  • Wrestled in 10 matches, competing in seven duals at 197 pounds.
  • Made his season debut against Michigan (1/10). 
  • Wrestled against Minnesota (1/16). 
  • Competed against Northwestern and Nebraska (1/23). 
  • Lost in sudden victory against Ohio State (1/31). 
  • Earned his first win of the season with a 5-3 decision over Indiana’s Nick Willham (2/14). 
  • Wrestled against Penn State (2/22). 
  • Represented Maryland at the Big Ten Championships and earned a 4-0 decision over Indiana’s Nick Willham (3/6).


2019-20 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): 

  • Served as Maryland’s primary starter at 197 pounds, wrestling in 14 of 19 dual matches.
  • Finished his redshirt junior campaign with a 12-9 record.
  • Ranked first on the team in Big Ten dual wins (4).
  • Ranked second on the team in dual wins (9) and technical falls (2).
  • Went 2-0 with wins over American’s Will Jarrell and Abe Correa-Medina to earn first place at the American Round Robin (11/9).
  • Earned a win over Maryland’s Niko Cappello at the Black Knight Invite (11/17).
  • Posted four consecutive wins in dual competition (12/6-1/10).
  • Beat Navy’s Jacob Koser (12/6).
  • Beat Rutgers’ Jordan Pagano – then ranked No. 14 in the nation – via a first period fall in Maryland’s Big Ten opener (12/7).
  • Earned a major decision over Pitt’s Kellan Stout (12/20).
  • Beat Fresno State’s Ryan Reyes (1/10).
  • Went on another four match winning streak, three of those wins coming in Big Ten competition (1/26-2/21).
  • Earned a win over Indiana’s Nick Willham (1/26).
  • Posted a victory over Illinois’ Matt Wroblewski (2/9).
  • Beat Illinois’ Lucas Davison – then ranked No. 16 in the country – via a first period fall (2/16).
  • Named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week (2/18).
  • Beat George Mason’s Ramses Montalvo (2/21).
  • Represented Maryland at the Big Ten Championships (3/7)


2018-19 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR):

  • Won three matches before missing remainder of the season due to injury.
  • Won by major decision in first bout of the season over Jared Florell (Purdue) at Princeton Open (11/4).
  • Stuck Hofstra's Trey Rogers in the first period at the Princeton Open (11/4).
  • Medical redshirt 


2017-18 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE):  

  • Won two dual matches before missing the remainder of the season due to an injury.
  • Defeated Luke Funck of Campbell, 11-3 (11/12).
  • Topped Philip Stolfi of George Mason with an 11-3 major decision (11/12). 
     

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE):

  • Served redshirt season after missing majority of the year due to injury. 
  • Went 4-1 at the Southeast Open, finishing second in the freshman/sophomore 184-pound bracket (11/6).
  • Defeated Shorter’s Hank Turner 4-0, beat Army’s Noah Stewart 8-3, pinned Elijah Seay at 2:52 and knocked off Army’s Alex Hopkins 4-1 to advance to SEO Final (11/6). 

2015-16 (FRESHMAN):

  • Ended first collegiate season 9-13 overall.
  • Won first collegiate match at Bearcat Open by decision (10-3) over Grayson Shepperd (11/8)
  • Finished 3-2 at the Wolfpack Open (11/22). 
  • Turned some heads in his dual match debut at the Grapple at the Garden, pinning No. 18 Jeff Koepke of Illinois at 4:14 (11/29). 
  • Posted his second fall in two matches with an overtime fall over Drexel’s Stephen Loiseau at 8:14 (12/5).
  • Won three straight Big Ten matches January 8-15. 
  • Pinned Wyatt Wilson (Indiana) at 6:01 (1/15).  

Before Maryland: 

  • A two-time state champion and four-time placer with a third and fifth place finish. 
  • Placed fourth in the 2015 NHSCA Senior Nationals.
  • Notched a career high school record of 129-22.

Personal: Majoring in math.
