Anjuwon Spence was hired as Director of Sales in November of 2023. In his role, Anjuwon is responsible for managing a sales team focused on generating revenue through season ticket sales, premium seating, group ticket sales and other ticket packages and offerings. In addition, Anjuwon is responsible for helping develop strategies and campaigns to increase participation and financial support within Maryland Athletics, Ticketing and Annual Giving programs.
Prior to the University of Maryland, Anjuwon served as Ticket Sales Manager with Penn State Athletics from 2021-2023. Anjuwon also worked for George Washington University from 2014-2021 serving as Manager, Ticket Sales and Operations before being promoted to Assistant Director, Ticket Sales and Operations in 2016.
A native of Providence, RI, Anjuwon received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Ohio Wesleyan University where he also played varsity basketball for four years. In addition, he received his Master’s of Professional Studies from the Georgetown Sports Industry Management program in 2016. He currently resides in Hyattsville, MD.
