COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Postgame Notes ... The Terps' 72-66 win over Kentucky was Maryland's largest margin of victory in three games against ranked opponents this season ... Gary Williams records his 200th career victory as Maryland's head coach ... he is 72-1 against non-conference opponents at Cole Field House in his 11-year career with the Terps ... Maryland extends its nation's longest non-conference home court win streak to 69 games, and completes an entire decade without a non-conference loss on its home floor ... Maryland's last non-conference loss at Cole Field House was Dec. 12, 1989 vs. Coppin State (70-63) ... it is the first time Maryland has played a non-conference team twice in the same season since playing Massachusetts twice in 1993-94 (including one NCAA Tournament game) ... it is the first time Maryland has played a non-conference team twice in the same regular season since splitting a home- and-road series with West Virginia in 1969-70 ... The Terrapins have recorded 35 consecutive home wins during the month of December, dating to Dec. 7, 1991 ... the Terps have held opponents under 40 percent field goal shooting in five games this season, and under 45 percent in all 10 games ... Maryland's Terence Morris finished with 22 points to record his third 20-plus effort in two seasons against the Wildcats ... three of Morris' top seven scoring efforts have come against Kentucky including 26 last season and 25 earlier this year in the preseason NIT at Madison Square Garden ...
