COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's gymnastics head coach Bob Nelligan announced today the receipt of a letter of intent from Stacy Celenski. Celenski, a 5'1 native of Farmingdale, N.Y., is a member of the Mid-Island Gymnastics Club in Farmingdale and has competed at Level 10 for the past three years. She is also a member of the Farmingdale High School gymnastics team.

Celenski competed in the Empire State Trials this past June and recorded scores of 9.175, 9.0, 8.8, 9.45, and 36.425 on vault, bars, beam, floor, and all-around, respectively. She also competed in the Junior Olympic Nationals in May where she finished 11th on beam with a score of 9.375. She also added scores of 9.175 on vault, 9.225 on floor, and 34.975 in the all-around.
