Delila Causevic To Represent Maryland In NCAA Championships

COLLEGE PARK, Md. --- Junior, three-time All-ACC selection Delila Causevic (Sarajevo, Bosnia) was selected to participate in the 2002 NCAA tournament, to be held from May 16-25 in Stanford, California. Causevic is ranked No. 46 nationally and will be making the first tournament appearance of her college career.
Causevic finished the 2001-2002 season, leading the Terps with a 24-9 record. She notched wins against tournament participants, such as Florida State's Anca Dumitrescu and William & Mary's Jessyca Arthur in the spring season as well.
This is the first time Maryland will be represented in the NCAA tournament since 1999, when the duo of Lorraine Bittles and Meg Griffin played in doubles competition.
