Maryland head coach Brenda Frese
On Maryland's effort against Clemson in the second half:
"I liked our intensity from the start...but we can't continue to come out when we have a lead and not be able to sustain it."
On three-point game:
"Until we can have perimeter players step up and make the three consistently for us, we have to be able to step up and make shots."
On Delvona Oliver and perimeter game:
"Del gives us an inside presence...You saw their adjustment in the second half where they were doubling and tripling up on her, so we had to take even more outside shots. When you settle for jump shots and outside shots and they're just not falling, you have to be able to go to the glass and rebound and have more effort on the boards."
On team's 20 offensive rebounds:
"We were aggressive on the offensive glass. Having your point guard [Vicki Brick] leading you in the offensive rebound category was huge. Her and Renneika [Razor] really crashed the boards hard for us."
On next match-up against Wake Forest:
"You always have adversity when you go on the road...You have to be able to come out and play 40 minutes with some level of intensity and enthusiasm. We need to be able to bounce back quickly and take out what we didn't do well tonight and turn it around against Wake Forest."
