CARY, N.C. -- Today was considered a day of rest for us Terps! Instead of being super bored around the hotel, a couple of us rented the movie Sea Biscuit and I went shopping with my parents.
We had breakfast in the hotel at 10 a.m. Then we boarded the bus for our jog/stretch at the SAS Soccer Complex. During our jog/stretch coaches Kerry D. and Steve Campbell got into a heated match of soccer tennis. Steve came out on top, winning the series 3-2. It was very entertaining.
After the jog/stretch we headed back to the hotel and then I ventured out with my parents to spend money. But it was money spent on Christmas presents so it was O.K. with my parents.
We met in the lobby of our hotel around 4:30 p.m., to head off for dinner at P.F. Changs. It's another team favorite so we just had to go. While at the restaurant something or someone caught the eye of my table... there was this really cute waiter who would mostly fill our water glasses. So to get him to come by my table as much as possible, I drank my water in about two minutes. I think he refilled my glass about five times. Carly Viher tried to have Jason Yellin get my picture with him or of us crossing paths, but I didn't allow it. Besides having a cute waiter, the dinner was excellent.
After dinner the team walked around the mall we were at, for a while. Then we boarded the bus and headed back to the hotel. While we were riding the rain started falling in buckets, but we were dry in the bus on the way back for a great night of television.
It's a night of Friends and the O.C., which is being re-aired, most of us missed it last night since we were at the Duke/Virginia game, so we are excited.
After the shows its off to bed early to get more rest and focus on tomorrow's big game vs. Florida State. At this point I will say good night to all the Terp fans out there.
From North Carolina, this is Danielle signing off. Good night and Go Terps!
