Head softball coach, Gina LaMandre, has established Maryland Softball as a major competitor at both the regional and national levels. Since the commencement of Maryland Softball in 1995, Coach LaMandre has laid the foundation to a successful program. The two-time All-American pitcher has led the team to many accomplishments in all aspects of the game.
Throughout each season, Terrapin players dominate their conference and region, shattering records for wins, runs scored, hits, RBIs, overall team and individual batting averges, home runs, sacrifices, extra-base hits, pitching victories, and strikeouts.
2004 Progressive Hitting Clinic
Coach LaMandre and Maryland Softball are now offering a three-session hitting clinic to better prepare you for your upcoming season. Enrollment size for the hitting clinic will be limited so hurry and save your space today!
Clinic Dates: January 4, 11 and 18
Clinic Times:
Group 1: 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Group 2: 11:15 a.m.-1:15 a.m.
Price: $130
*If you enroll in both pitching and hitting clinics, the price will be $200 (Note: If you enroll in a pitching clinic you will be placed in Group 2)
Pitching Clinic
We will also be offering a multi-week pitching clinic. The clinic will be held in conjunction with the hitting clinics to better accomodate for pitchers who also want to work on their hitting skills. The pitching clinic is limited so hurry and reserve your space today.
Clinic Dates: January 4, 11 and 18
Clinic Times:
Group 3: 1:45 p.m.-3:45 p.m.
Group 4: 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Price: $130
*If you enroll in a hitting clinic you will be placed in Group 3)
Please bring your own catcher! (Moms and dads are welcome)
One Day Hitting and Defensive Clinic
This day camp will focus on the skills necessary to become a successful hitter and better defensive player. Pizza will be provided (cost of the pizza will be included in the cost of the camp). Please inquire about team and group discounts.
Clinic Date: January 25
Clinic Times:
Session 1: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
Session 2: 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Price: $60
Clinic Registration
To reserve your space in one of the preseason pitching, hitting or one day clinics, fill out the application and send it with your non-refundable clinic registration fee. Upon receipt, you will be sent confirmation and all other pertinent clinic information, including directions.
