Final Day Of Tournament Action Cancelled

ATHENS, Ga. - The final game of the University of Georgia Invitational softball tournament has been cancelled due to heavy rains in the Athens area. Host No. 17 Georgia finishes the tournament with a 4-0 record. Boston College and Maryland both finished 2-2, and Drexel finished 0-4 on the weekend.

The Terrapins will return to the diamond Friday when they travel to Tampa, Fla. for the University of South Florida Spring Tournament. Maryland will play Seton Hall at 9 a.m. and Indiana at 11 a.m. Friday. Other opponents for the weekend include Hofstra, Radford, and host South Florida.
