COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The University of Maryland women's gymnastics team will host a quad meet this Saturday, Feb. 22, in the small gym at the Comcast Center. The meet which was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. has been moved to 8 p.m. Admission to the meet is free.
The Terps are 4-7 on the season, and are 2-4 against East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) opponents. Maryland is flawless at home, having defeated Temple and West Virginia at their new home facility.
Maryland has already faced conference rival Towson twice in 2003, first at the Bahamas Breeze and then at the Governor's Cup. The Terps defeated Towson at Nassua, Bahamas, 190.450-190.225. However, the Tigers came out on top at the Governor's Cup, edging the Terps, 194.575-194.300.
