Upcoming Softball Tilts Cancelled

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland softball team will have to wait two more weeks for its home opener. All Maryland softball games for the upcoming week have been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. These cancelled games include doubleheaders against Delaware and Rider, a weekend tournament against Villanova, Towson, and Dartmouth, and a doubleheader on March 19 against Tulsa. Crews are currently making progress on preparing the field for the Maryland Invitational Tournament, set for Sat., March 29 and Sun., March 30 when the Terps will host Hofstra, Columbia, and Delaware State.
The Terrapins are coming off a 2-3 weekend at the Speedline Invitational. The team's next match-up will be against ACC opponent Georgia Tech on Fri., March 21 at the Buzz Classic in Atlanta, Ga.
