ATHENS, Ga. - University of Maryland's gymnastics team, ranked 31st nationally, attempts to secure a spot in the 12-team NCAA Championships Saturday night when it participates in the NCAA Southeast Regional here on the University of Georgia campus.
The competition begins at 7 p.m. ET.
The Terps are joined in the six-team field by Georgia, Florida, Ohio State, North Carolina and NC State.

The top two teams at each of the six regionals qualify for the NCAA Championships, which will be held in two weeks at the University of Nebraska.
