TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Junior Monica Cyphert (Warren, Ohio) has gone above and beyond the call of duty this season as Maryland's top pitcher and top RBI producer. She was honored for her efforts by the ACC Conference Thursday evening as one of twelve players selected to the 2003 All-ACC Team.

Cyphert pitched her first career no-hitter against Coppin State April 13, striking out a career-high 14 in the contest. She has not allowed opposing teams to score against her in her last five appearances and eight of her last nine appearances.
