
Terps Welcome U.S. Military Veterans To Liberty Game

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland head basketball coach Gary Williams, 26-year "Voice of the Terps" Johnny Holliday and the Terrapin men's basketball team welcome 20 men and women from Washington D.C.'s Walter Reed Army Medical Center to this evening's game.
The soldiers, all veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom who were wounded in combat in Iraq or Afghanistan, will be close to the action this evening as the Terps take on the Liberty Flames at 8 p.m.
Walter Reed provides primary and specialty military health care for soldiers, other service members, families and retirees in the national capital area. The medical center serves as the pre-eminent federal medical center for worldwide referral care, clinical education and clinical research.
