Foster, Manning Complete Competition At NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Kierra Foster and Harold Manning wrapped up competition at the NCAA Championships in Fayettevile, Ark., Friday night. Foster finished 13th in the long jump (19-04.00), while Manning was 11th in the preliminary heat of the 200-meter dash (21.18).

Manning, who automatically qualified for the NCAA meet with at time of 21.06 in the 200-meter dash last weekend at the IC4A Championships, turned in a solid performance with a time of 21.18 in the preliminary heat of the event.

Foster, whose season-best leap of 20-10.00 at the Meyo Invitational qualified her for the NCAA meet, came in 13th Friday night in the long jump (19-04.00).

The NCAA Championships marks the end of the indoor track season. The outdoor season begins next weekend, when the teams travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., and Richmond, Va., for the Tar Heel Opener and the Virginia Commonwealth Invitational.
