
Maryland Earns Multiple Trips To The Podium On Final Day Of Big Ten Championships

LINCOLN, NE -The final day of the Big Ten Track and Field Championships in Lincoln saw the Maryland Terrapins reach the podium three times. The Terrapins also set three new top-10 all-time school marks to close out the weekend.
Justin DeVaughn secured a fourth place overall finish in the 110 meter hurdles after running a time of 13.47 seconds.
Yesterday DeVaughn set the new eighth all-time record in the event for program history but climbed all the way up to second all-time with his performance today.
Mehdi Guerrah finished in fifth place overall in the 400 meter hurdles final after running a time of 51.71 seconds. Gurrah earned his team four points in his efforts.
The 4x100 team made up of Levrone, Ford, Morman and Spikes earned the Terps a spot on the podium after turning in a time of 33.90 seconds in the event.
The quartet secured the seventh place overall spot in the event while also moving up to second place all-time in the Maryland record books for the event.
