Cameron Hunt-Logan Named University of Maryland's NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee

Sept. 21, 2004

Cameron Hunt-Logan, a Terp gymnast for the past two seasons, was recently named the University of Maryland's nominee for the 2004 NCAA Woman of the Year award. The award is presented annually and recognizes young women in intercollegiate athletics for their outstanding achievements in athletics, academics and community service.

While at the university, Hunt-Logan graduated with a degree in English while also participating in women's gymnastics. She was one of three Terps to compete at least once on each event a year ago and posted season-bests of 9.825 on the vault (five times), 9.80 on the floor exercise and a 9.80 on the beam (three times).

Cameron was an EAGL Academic All-America selection in both her freshman and sophomore campaigns and graduated in just two years. She is currently going to graduate school in Florida. For more information on the NCAA Woman of the Year award, Click Here.
