The Terps basketball team (No. 21 USA Today/ESPN. No. 24 AP) will take on defending NCAA Division II national champion Virginia Union in their final exhibition game Friday at 8 p.m. at the Comcast Center. Maryland looks for a solid effort in its final tuneup before the regular-season opener against Fairleigh Dickinson on Nov. 18.
All of Friday's action can be heard live on the Terrapin Radio Sports Network starting with the Terps Pregame Show at 7 p.m.

Terps Sign Top-20 Recruiting Class
Maryland inked one of the nation's best recruiting classes during the November early signing period. The Terps' signing class, which was ranked 18th nationally by Rivals.com, includes 6-5 combo guard Reivis Vasquez from nearby Montrose Christian, 6-foot-3 point guard Eric Hayes from Potomac (Va.) High School, 6-foot-6 small forward Landon Milbourne from Oak Hill Academy and 6-foot-9 power forward Jerome Burney from Westlake High School in Atlanta. Vasquez is rated as one of top 65 players in the country, while Hayes is ranked as the nation's No. 9 point guard. Milbourne is considered one of the top 45 players in the nation by Rivals.com, while Burney averaged 12.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game as a junior as he led the Lions to the Elite Eight of the Georgia State Tournament.
NCAA's Experimental Rules
The Terps' two exhibition contests, as well as Maryland's three games at the Maui Invitational will be played with experimental rules set forth by the NCAA:

Terps Pregame and Postgame Shows Hit the Road
The Terps Pregame and Postgame Shows on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network will hit the road when Maryland heads to Hawaii next week for the Maui Invitational. Bill Rohland from ESPN Radio 1300 in Baltimore will be broadcasting live from Dave and Buster's Super Sports Café in Arundel Mills Mall for all three contests, beginning on Monday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. prior to Maryland's match-up with No. 7 Gonzaga. The Terps Pregame Show begins one hour prior to tip-off for each Maryland contest, while the postgame show has been expanded to an hour, as well. Rohland will take phone calls and chat with fans the final 30 minutes of Terps Postgame.
