Zink Lastest Former Terp Added To Outlaws By Reese
Former Terp Brian Reese has wasted no time as GM of the Denver Outlaws in acquiring fellow Terrapin alums to help kickoff the Outlaws' innaugural season in the MLL. His most recent move was acquiring 2004 Schmeisser Memorial Cup winner Lee Zink in a trade with the Baltimore Bayhawks. Reese sent two draft picks - a second round (13th overall) selection in the MLL Collegiate Draft in May and a second round (12th overall) selection in the Supplemental Draft.

In the expansion draft on Nov. 1, Reese selected selected a pair of former Terps - 2003 Schmeisser Memorial Cup winner Michael Howley and four-year letterwinner Mike LaMonica.

Eight Maryland Alums Taken In MLL Supplemental Draft
The second round selection that Denver sent to Baltimore as part of the Zink trade turned out to be former Terp defenseman Mike Mollot. The Bayhawks used the 12th overall selection on the three-time All-American.

Mollot was the first of seven former Terps to be selected in the 2006 MLL Supplemental Draft, which occured yesterday December 6.
