COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Gymnastics squad defeated Pittsburgh Saturday, 192.400-192.075 to improve to 8-7 on the season. Maryland had one of its best meets on floor exercise.

Freshman Lindsey Bonomo led the Terps on vault, scoring a 9.725. Sophomore Marisa St. Louis was solid also with a 9.65. Freshman Gretchen Kittelberger added a 9.55 for the squad (47.175).

Uneven Bars proved to be one of Maryland's best events. Senior Mandy Pascual scored a team-best 9.775. Redshirt sophomore Rachel Colon notched a 9.725 to add to the Terps' effort (48.150).

Junior Alex Gatch paced the Terps on balance beam with a 9.80. Colon earned a 9.775 and Junior Rachel Martinez added a 9.725 for Maryland (48.025)

Maryland turned in one of its best performances on floor exercise this season. Scott and Martinez each scored a 9.875 to lead the team. Kittelberger and St. Louis had strong routines, each adding a 9.775. Sophomore Angie Ferg notched a 9.750 to give the Terps the victory in that event (49.050).
