Terps Today: What is your first softball memory?
Crystal Tweedy: Well it's actually a baseball memory. I got hit in the neck with the ball. It was actually kind of funny.

Terps Today: What is the best thing about Maryland softball?
CT: Easter Egg Hunt.

Terps Today: If you were auditioning for American Idol, what song would you sing?
CT : 'The Greatest Love of All' by Whitney Houston.

Terps Today: Would you rather hit the game-winning home run or make the game-ending diving catch in left field?
CT : I've never hit a home run before, so I'd like to do that.

Terps Today: Who is your favorite athlete at Maryland?
CT : Nneka Cardoza.

Terps Today: What are your plans after graduation?
CT : Hopefully work and make some money.

Terps Today: Which teammate makes you laugh the hardest?
CT : Abbey Welch.

Terps Today: If you could take one attribute from two players on your team, what would you take and from whom?
CT : I would take Rachel Greyson's hilarity and Abbey Welch's street smarts.

Terps Today: What is your favorite part of practice?
CT : I like taking fly balls.

Terps Today: What's the best part about road trips?
CT : Sleeping on the plane.

Terps Today: What is one thing people would be surprised to know about your team?
CT : How smart we are.

Senior Crystal Tweedy is batting .324 on the year with 13 runs and four RBI.

Terps Today: Describe yourself in two words.
CT : Kind and caring.

Terps Today: If you were Coach LaMandre for a day, what would you do?
CT : At a game, everybody would steal bases all the time.

Terps Today: What's your favorite sport besides softball?
CT : Volleyball.

Terps Today: What has been your most memorable game as a Terrapin?
CT : When we beat Georgia this year.

Terps Today: Excluding players on the current team, who would you choose to go up to bat if your team was down one run with the bases loaded and two outs?
CT : Samantha Sweeney.

Terps Today: Describe each of the seniors in one word.
CT : Lauren Pollock - motherly. Nneka Cardoza - spastic. Crystal Rizzuto - cool. Jessica Aditays - aquatic.

Terps Today: What is your favorite Maryland softball camp memory?
CT : During camp when we were playing games, there was this raccoon that would not go away. So I was the animal-chaser all week. I chased a fox from the dorm, then I chased this raccoon from the game. Something was wrong with that raccoon I think, it wouldn't go away.
