COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The East Atlantic Gymnastics League awarded Maryland senior Rachel Martinez EAGL gymnast of the Week.

Martinez (Massapequa, N.Y) scored a 38.925 to win the all-around competition in the Terps' 189.3 to 177.75 victory over James Madison on Saturday. She also finished first on uneven bars (9.75) and floor exercise (9.875). Martinez added second-place finishes on vault (9.775) and balance beam (9.525).

Martinez has won this honor six times in her career. The Terps travel to Athens, Ga. to take on the defending National Champion Georgia Gym dogs Saturday, Jan. 14 at 4:00pm.
