Maryland (No.18 AP, No. 19 ESPN/USA Today) hits the road again for two of the next three games, starting with Georgia Tech Wednesday night in Atlanta at 7 p.m. It is the first of three straight national TV games for the Terps (ESPN), who also travel to Philadelphia to take on Temple in non-conference action on Saturday. Mike Patrick and Jimmy Dykes are on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network and XM Satellite Radio, Channel 191.
The Terps are coming off an 81-72 win over Virginia Tech Saturday at Comcast Center, while the Yellow Jackets try to rebound from a 73-63 home loss to Clemson last weekend.
Maryland, which leads the ACC and ranks seventh nationally in scoring with 82.4 ppg, will be led by senior forward Nik Caner-Medley (13.8 ppg, 6.0 rpg), who has averaged 15.2 points and 7.0 rebounds in ACC play. Junior point guard D.J. Junior shooting guard Mike Jones (7.8 ppg) rounds out the Terps' starting five.
