
Women's Water Polo Defeats Penn State-Behrend 13-1

In their only game on Day 2 of the Bucknell Invitational, the Terrapins soundly defeated Penn State-Behrend 13-1. Strong defense held Penn State-Behrend scoreless until the fourth quarter.
High scorers for the Terps were Orsi Ferenczy with three goals, and Jill Lau with two. The remaining eight goals were contributed by Allison Kuzniar, Rachel Jordan, Bryndis Klein, Laurel Laidlaw, Elizabeth Eicks, Allie Houseal, Kerry McFadden, and Meaghan Mohr. Laidlaw and Houseal each added two assists.
Anna Gossett played the entire game in goal, nearly achieving a rare shutout victory. She blocked seven and allowed only one goal.
The Terps will face George Washington on March 7th.
