11 Maryland Gymnasts Named to EAGL All-Academic Team

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - 11 Maryland Gymnasts have been named to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League All-Academic team, league officials announced Monday. Senior Mandy Pascual garnered her fifth award since her first season as a redshirt in 2002 and senior Rebecca Ruppert was named to the team for the fourth time.
In order to be named to the EAGL All-Academic team, student athletes must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the two previous semesters. Freshmen are also eligible if they earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.
