
Valmon Part of USOC Summit in D.C.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland head track and field coach Andrew Valmon is part of the seminar staff this week at a United States Olympic Committee seminar for post-Olympic and paralympic athletes.
The meeting is being held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport from May 17 through 19. It is deisgned to aid athletes transition to careers and life after the rigorous training needed to achieve at the Olympic level.
Valmon, who won two gold medals for the U.S. in the 4x400 relay, was a keynote speaker on Thursday. He is finishing his third season as the head coach at the University of Maryland.
