Softball Tryouts Rescheduled

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland women's softball team will be holding open tryouts for new players on Saturday, September 16, 2006. The tryouts will begin at 10 a.m. at the Terrapin Softball Complex in College Park, Md. for the 2007 season.

To qualify for the tryouts, all participants must:

  • Carry at least 12 credits for full-time status at the University of Maryland during 2006-2007 academic year.
  • Complete Liability and Waiver form by September 7, 2006. Send completed form to Deanna Bennett via fax at (301) 314-9439 or email to dbennett@umd.edu.
  • Demonstrate proof of insurance. Please send documentation to Deanna Bennett at the contact information listed above.
  • Bring copy of 2006-07 Class schedule.
  • Bring your own equipment to tryouts (glove, cleats, bat).
