Michele Brenner
Q: What is the best part about college life so far?
Michele: My favorite part about college life is being on my own and making my own decisions for myself.
Q: What do you think is going to be your hardest class this semester?
Michele: The hardest class this semester for me will probably be math because it is my weakest subject.
Allie Dama:
Q: How was the transition to living in a dorm and sharing a room? Did you decorate your room at all?
Allie: The transition to living in a dorm wasn't too hard since I have shared a room before and I am fairly organized. Before we got to school, my roommate (Talia) and I coordinated colors and planned on having a mostly pink room.
Q: What do you miss most about home?
Allie: What I miss the most about home is my family and all of the home-cooked meals.
Brandi George:
Q: What is your favorite part about Maryland so far?
Brandi: My favorite part about Maryland is definitely being a part of the Terps Gymnastics team; we are like one big family!
Q: Was it difficult to find your classes, did you ever get lost?
Brandi: It wasn't too hard to find my classes. I didn't get lost because me and my roommate (Mo) went and found our classes the day before.
Candice King:
Q: What is the most surprising thing about Maryland?
Candice: The campus is really big but you learn your way around fast. Oh, and there are black squirrels here; I have never seen one of those before.
Q: Who is the funniest person on the team?
Candice: Ferg.
Margaux Meeks:
Q: Has it been difficult meeting new people? Have you met a lot of new people?
Mo: Not at all. I have met so many people here on campus! I met many at freshman orientation, and also the upperclassmen on the team have really helped to introduce us to new people.
Q: Tell me about the freshmen class as a group; how do you all get along and how have you been fitting in with the team as a whole?
Mo: As a group we are very positive and excited for the new season. We get along very well, each of us have our own different personalities that keep the conversations interesting. Also I believe we all fit into the team real well and I always have such a good time when we all hang out!
Talia Tossone
Q: How has it been sharing a bathroom with an entire hallway?
Talia: It seems that every time Ii want to take a shower there is someone in there but it is definitely not as bad as I thought it would be.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about this year?
Talia: I really love all of the girls and I'm just really excited about everything. I'm probably looking forward to the travel meets the most.
