Maryland Will Be Seen Four Times in Finals

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Women's Tennis Team will compete four times in the finals on Sunday at the Maryland Invitational in College Park.

In the Flight A Doubles competition, Marianne Baker and Eleanor Peters faced LSU, easily taking their second doubles victory of the weekend, 8-1. Also in Flight A Doubles, Maggie MacKeever and Michal Amir won in a tight match against LSU, 9-8 (1).

Julia Graca and Brooke Rogers competed in Flight B Doubles competition, winning against Yale.

Peters competed in Flight A Singles competition against LSU, winning easily in two sets, 6-3, 6-3.

Flight B Singles competitor Amir won the fourth victory for the Terps against West Virginia, 6-0, 6-4.

The final day of the Maryland Invitational will take place tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Tennis Center at College Park.
