Hey, I hope everyone had a good holiday. Over break all the girls worked out at home or where ever they could. Personally, going home was fun because I had not been home since beginning school in August. This is a new experience for the freshmen; we have adapted well and have our coaches and teammates to thank.
After break everyone came back to College Park in full force and ready to work. We are all excited about this season because of the hard work we have been putting in. We know we have even harder work ahead of us to reach our full potential. We are eager to come to the gym everyday and work on our personal weaknesses so we can increase our depth on each event. After doing well at our second intrasquad, we are all pumped to get this season started. Each girl brings something to the table, because all of us are different, but working towards a common goal.
We are led by three amazing seniors Ferg, Marisa and Colon. Since they are the most experienced they know just what to say to get you going and you can count on them no matter what both in and out of the gym. The juniors and sophomores also play a major role in the strength of our team.
Our first meet is against Towson and Penn at the Comcast Center Pavilion, Friday, January 12 at 7:00 pm. So anyone who can get there come check us out! Thanks for the support and we hope to see you this season!
