
Terps Wrap-Up Competition at ITA Regionals

NORFOLK, Va. - The Maryland women's tennis team finished competition at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Regional Championships in Norfolk Monday.
Senior captain Michal Amir and freshman Julia Huschke fell to Pennsylvania's Julia Koubitskaya and Kate Kosiminskaya, 8-0, in their doubles flight quarterfinal match. The duo was the last to compete for the Terrapins.
Maryland went 4-6 in singles matches and 5-3 in dual matches for the weekend.
The Terps will continue to prepare for their next tournament, the University of North Carolina Invitational Tournament November 9-11 at Chapel Hill, N.C.
