
2007-08 Gary Williams Radio Show Debuts Tuesday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Gary Williams Radio Show, featuring Maryland head basketball coach Gary Williams and Hall of Fame broadcaster Johnny Holliday, will make its season debut Tuesday, November 13, at R.J. Bentley's in College Park. The live call-in show will air throughout the season on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. Monday's show will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Students, alumni and all Terrapin fans are invited to join the Terps head coach each week throughout the season and will have opportunities to win Maryland Basketball Prize Packs. Fans will also be able to ask questions on location at R.J. Bentley's or by calling toll free (800) 518-4012. Williams, who is in his 19th season as head coach at his alma mater, conducts the weekly-call-in show alongside Holliday, who has been the "Voice of the Terps" for 29 years.
The show airs on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network, which includes flagship stations WHFS 105.7 FM and ESPN Radio AM-1300 in Baltimore; Network affiliates include: WJFK 106.7 FM (Washington, DC), WTBO AM-1450 (Cumberland), WEMD AM-1460 (Easton), WFMD AM-930 (Frederick), WARK AM-1490 (Hagerstown), WPTX 1690 AM (Lexington Park), WMSG AM-1050 (Oakland) and WQMR 101.1 FM (Ocean City).
The Terps tip off the 2007-08 regular season Sunday, November 11, when they host North Florida in the opening round of the 2007 O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.
