The Maryland competitive cheer team travels to Atlanta this weekend to compete in the 2007 Cheersport National Championship held at the Georgia World Congress Center. The Terps will face six other collegiate teams in the College All-Girl Level 6 category including last year's runner-up Kennesaw State University. The competition is a two-day event with scores from both days being combined to determine the champion.

Maryland won the 2006 Cheersport national title with a combined score of 525.5 points.
