Drew Nicholas' game-winning, buzzer-beating three-point field goal in the 2003 NCAA Tournament that lifted Maryland to a 75-73 win over UNC Wilmington was listed by Rivals.com as the 10th-best three-pointer in the history of the NCAA Tournament.
The story, along with accompanying video, recalls Nicholas' heroics in the final seconds of the first-round matchup. Trailing by one point, Nicholas dribbled the length of the court and got off the desperation three.
Topping the list was Bryce Drew's hook-and-ladder three-pointer that lifted Valparaiso to a win over Ole Miss in the first round of the 1998 Tournament.
