Budde Named Women's Swim Coach and Aquatics Director at Greensboro College

Greensboro, N.C. - Scot A. Budde has been named women's swim coach and director of Aquatics at Greensboro College effective July 31st announced Pride Athletics Director Kim Strable.
Budde just completed his third season as an assistant with George Mason University's swimming and diving program. Budde came to George Mason after serving as the Aquatics Director at the Gilman School Baltimore from 2000-04. While at the Gilman School, Budde was a physical education teacher, pool operator and also handled several coaching responsibilities at all levels for both swimming and water polo. Budde was also an assistant swim coach for the Mariners Swim Club (2000-04).
An intercollegiate swimmer at the University of Maryland, Budde was twice team captain as well as two-time recipient of the prestigious Diehl Award for extraordinary dedication. As a student-athlete he qualified for the Athletic Honor Roll four years and was also a two-year member of the University of Maryland Student-Athlete Council.
