WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Maryland women's team finished its play in the William & Mary Invitational Tournament Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore Lisa Miller defeated Ashley Hale of Cincinnati, 6-0, 6-1, to earn third place in the Flight F singles competition.
Freshman Karin Lundmark dropped a close third place match to Michigan State's Manon Noe, 6-3, 4-6, 10-5, in the Flight D singles bracket.
The Terrapins return home this week to host the annual University of Maryland Invitational Tournament held Sept. 21-23 at the Tennis Center at College Park.
