Hey Terp Fans,

Last Friday, we kick-started our season with a home meet against Ohio State. Brandi had an amazing meet, sticking her vault and winning the all-around. Michele showed how floor is supposed to be done with nothing but smiles. Gretchen competed her Yurchenko full for the first time and Abbey hit an amazing beam set after being out with an injury for the last couple weeks.

All of the girls did such a good job and stuck together until the very end! It was so exciting and lots of fun. The team brought in a good crowd and the fans were so fun and exciting! Thanks for all your support.

Although there were a number of positives that occurred during the meet, there were also some mistakes. Now that our first meet is over and we know exactly what the mistakes were, it's time to get back into the gym and work hard to ensure that those mistakes don't happen again.

I am excited for next weekend against West Virginia! With a home-court advantage, we look forward to great success. Our team is so talented, and with such great chemistry, I know Maryland Gymnastics is going to do big things!
