COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Gary Williams Radio Show, presented by AvcomEast, featuring Maryland head basketball coach Gary Williams and Hall of Fame broadcaster Johnny Holliday, returns Thursday, January 24, at The Greene Turtle in Columbia. The live call-in show will air throughout the season on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. Thursday's show will run from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Students, alumni and all Terrapin fans are invited to join the Terps head coach each week throughout the season. Fans will also be able to ask questions on location at The Greene Turtle or by calling (866) 950-5225. Williams, who is in his 19th season as head coach at his alma mater, conducts the weekly call-in show alongside Holliday, who has been the "Voice of the Terps" for 29 years.
The show airs on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network, which includes flagship stations WHFS 105.7 FM and ESPN Radio AM-1300 in Baltimore; Network affiliates include: WJFK 106.7 FM (Washington, DC), WTBO AM-1450 (Cumberland), WFMD AM-930 (Frederick), WARK AM-1490 (Hagerstown), WMSG AM-1050 (Oakland) and WQMR 101.1 FM (Ocean City).
The Terps return to action Sunday at 6:30 p.m. when they host the Duke Blue Devils. The game will be broadcast on the Terrapin Sports Network and will be televised by Fox SportsNet.
