Senior Crystal Langhorne became the first 2,000-point scorer in Maryland women's basketball history, making a mid-range jumper only 24 seconds into the game to reach the milestone. Langhorne surpassed 2,000 points with two free throws at the 16:31 mark of the first half.
Langhorne finished with 19 points, giving her 2,017 in her career and moved up to 15th on the ACC career scoring list.
Junior Kristi Toliver reached a milestone of her own, recording her 500th-career assist at the 18:57 mark of the first half, finding Laura Harper wide open for a lay-up.
With 10 total assists, Toliver moved into second place all-time at Maryland, passing both Deanna Tate (1986-89) and Tara Heiss (1975-78) in the record books. Toliver now has 508 assists in her career. It was Toliver's eighth double-digit assist game of the season and 12th of her career.
Toliver is tied for 20th Georgia Tech's Ida Neal in the ACC career assists list.
Toliver also set a season high with six rebounds, tying her career high.
Freshman Kat Lyons made her 10th consecutive 3-pointer of the season in the first half, dating back to the Richmond victory Dec. 29. Lyons' streak ended at the 10:46 mark of the second half when she missed from long range.
Maryland's 40-point victory was its sixth win of the season by 40 or more points.
The victory was Maryland's 23rd of the season, the most wins by any team in the country.
Senior Ashleigh Newman tied her season high with three steals.
The Terps moved to 7-1 all-time against Miami, including three straight victories since the Hurricanes joined the ACC in 2005.
The 90 points were the most Miami has allowed all season.
