Maryland Softball to Hold Open Tryouts on February 6

COLLEGE PARK, MD. - The University of Maryland softball team will be holding open walk-on tryouts for new players on Wednesday, February, 6, 2008. The tryouts will begin at 4:00pm. at Robert E. Taylor Stadium in College Park, Md. for Spring 2008 season.

To qualify for the tryouts, all participants must:

Carry at least 12 credits for full-time status at the University of Maryland during 2007-2008 academic year.

Complete Liability and Waiver form by February 5, 2008. Send completed form to Katy Meassicck via fax at (301) 314-9439 or email to meassick@umd.edu

Demonstrate proof of insurance. Please send documentation to Katy Meassick at the contact information listed above.

Bring copy of 2007-08 Class schedule.

Bring your own equipment to tryouts (glove, cleats, bat).
