COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 39th-ranked University of Maryland gymnastics team (3-6) hosts No. 42 George Washington University Friday for its "Terps for a Cure" meet. The competition is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Comcast Pavilion.
About the "Terps for a Cure" Meet
This meet is designated to promote breast cancer awareness. Fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing pink.

Last Time Out
Maryland tallied its season-high of 192.925 last Saturday in East Lansing, Mich., but fell to Michigan State's 195.925 score.
Sophomore Brandi George recorded a new season-best of 38.975 in the all-around, which is her fourth victory this season. George also scored a season-high on floor (9.825), tying her for first place.
Freshman Abigail Adams became the second Terp to compete in the all-around this season. She made her first appearance on uneven bars and scored the team's high on the event (9.700).
About the George Washington University Colonials
Fellow East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) member George Washington earned a season-high last week, but fell to Kent State, 195.600-193.125.
The Colonials are 6-6 this season; they are ranked 42nd in the nation and sixth within the EAGL.
Looking Ahead
The Terrapins travel to Durham, N.H. on February 24 to face the New Hampshire Wildcats. The meet is set for 1:00 p.m. in the Lundholm Gymnasium.
