Season Opener Against Coastal Carolina Postponed Due to Rain

CONWAY, S.C. - The University of Maryland baseball team's scheduled season opener today against Coastal Carolina has been postponed due to heavy rain in the area.
The Terrapins will play two games Saturday, starting with Coastal Carolina at 2:30 p.m., followed by Pitt 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Maryland finishes Sunday with a 1:30 p.m. tilt with Coastal Carolina.
The Terps are participating in the IMIChotels.com INN-vitational at Coastal Carolina, along with Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh. All today's games have been postponed.
The Terps were originally scheduled to play Coastal Carolina at 4 p.m. today and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by a matchup with Pittsburgh Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.
