First Day of Maryland Invitational Cut Short Due to Rain

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Both of Maryland softball's games Friday were postponed due to inclement weather during the afternoon. Maryland will play Seton Hall Saturday at 3 p.m. On Sunday, the Terps will face off against Columbia and Fordham at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively.

Only two of the scheduled six games for Friday were able to be played. Seton Hall defeated Stony Brook 3-1 and Columbia defeated Mount St. Mary's, 6-3, in the opener. The Terps were scheduled to play Stony Brook and Seton Hall Friday night.
