Terps Hit At NCAA Regionals

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Four sophomores, Michele Brenner, Allison Dama, Brandi George and Talia Tossone, closed the 2008 season for the University of Maryland gymnastics team Saturday evening at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships in Gainesville, Fla. The Terps hit seven-for-seven routines, but did not qualify for the NCAA National Championships.

George tallied an all-around total of 38.825 for eighteenth place. She notched a 9.750 on vault and balance beam, a 9.675 on uneven bars and a 9.650 on floor exercise.

Dama swung to a 9.850 on uneven bars, tying for eighth place. Tossone scored a 9.750 on balance beam, tying with George for nineteenth place. Brenner tumbled to a 9.500 mark on floor exercise.
