ACC Softball Championship Site

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Due to more rain in the College Park area, the game times and format for Saturday's ACC Softball Championship games have been altered. Winner's bracket games featuring Virginia Tech vs. Florida State and North Carolina vs. NC State have been changed to single-elimination semifinal games starting at 2 and 4:30 p.m., and all teams with at least one loss have been automatically eliminated from the championship. Sunday's championship game - slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. - has now been moved up to its original time slot at 12 p.m.

The new schedule for the remainder of the weekend is as follows:

Saturday, May 10
Semifinals
#2 Virginia Tech vs. #3 Florida State - 2 p.m.
#1 North Carolina vs. #5 NC State - 4 p.m.
Sunday, May 11
Championship Game
Winner of #2/#3 vs. Winner of #1/#5 - Noon
Game will be broadcast live on FSN South, SUN Sports, Comcast SportsNet and NESN.
