Maryland Baseball Golf Classic Scheduled for September 12

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 5th Annual University of Maryland Baseball Golf Classic has been scheduled for September 12 at Hampshire Greens Golf Course in Silver Spring, Md.
Registration for the tournament begins at noon with play beginning with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
In addition to the golf outing, the event will include several side activities, including hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contests, with awards being distributed to the top three performers in each. Additional events include a raffle for Maryland men's and women's basketball season tickets, as well as sports memorabilia and golf outing auctions. Door prizes will also be distributed to participants.
The registration fee is $175 per player and $700 per team with the deadline being September 5. The entry fee includes an embroidered golf shirt, golf bag, tournament hat, box lunch, barbecue buffet and drinks and snacks.

The organizers of the golf classic are actively pursuing corporate sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities range from $100 to $3,000.
