Dilz is seventh in the 50 free (20.37), while the combo of Dilz and Cullen are eighth and tenth in the 100 breast, respectively. Corvin was a member of the first place 400 free relay, won the 50 free and placed third in the 100 free. Laura Barnes led the women's 200 medley relay to a win and captured the 100 and 200 breaststroke for Pitt.
Penn State was second in women's action and third in men's at the Ohio State Invitational Dec. 7. The Nittany Lions are paced by 200 backstroke NCAA Champion Patrick Schirk. Kelly Nelson and Kaitlyn O'Brien are forces to be reckoned with in the 200 fly and 200 breast, respectively. Villanova is a familiar foe for Maryland as the Wildcats competed in the Terrapin Cup in November, with the men finishing sixth and the women fifth. Lindsey Hagens was a bright spot for Villanova, winning the 200 back. Astrid Armgarth placed second in the 400 IM.
